4 night itinerary - combining conservation-led experiences, wildlife encounters and relaxed time at a private home in Kenya’s northern highlands.

Lengishu offers a four-night itinerary, giving a balanced blend of wildlife-focused activities, cultural moments and unhurried time at home. Over four nights, guests experience conservation-centred exploration, scenic immersion and opportunities to relax within this expansive protected landscape.

Day 1: Arrival & Orientation

  • Arrive at Borana Conservancy and transfer to Lengishu for a leisurely lunch.
  • Settle into the house and explore the gardens and pool area.
  • Head out on a late afternoon game drive across Borana Conservancy.
  • Sundowners at a scenic viewpoint followed by dinner at the house.

Day 2: Conservation Walk & Sundowners

  • Head out at first light to meet the Borana Conservancy rangers to track black and white rhino on foot to learn about the anti-poaching and wildlife monitoring efforts.
  • Enjoy breakfast in the bush surrounded by some of Kenya’s finest flora and fauna.
  • Continue to a tour of the Borana HQ which highlights conservation, education, and sustainability in action.
  • BBQ lunch by the pool.
  • Head out on an afternoon game drive in search of  big cats and return for sundowners at the Lengishu Ridge.
  • Dinner at Lengishu.

Day 3: Aerial Views & Pride Rock

  • Take to the skies for an early morning helicopter adventure. Soar on a breathtaking scenic flight through the Suguta Valley which is vast, dramatic and virtually untouched by human presence, or head to the high altitude slopes of Mt Kenya for some fly-fishing. Enjoy a packed breakfast in a spectacular remote setting and return to Lengishu in time for lunch.
  • Spend the afternoon by the pool or making the most of the in-house masseuse.
  • Head out to Pride Rock for sundowners, an iconic viewpoint which was the inspiration for Disney’s The Lion King.
  • Dinner at Lengishu.

Day 4: Active Exploration & Cultural Exchange

  • Early morning game drive, eBike ride or horse ride and explore the conservancy from a different perspective at a slower pace.
  • Return to Lengishu for breakfast.
  • Spend a relaxed morning by the pool with local Maasai ladies, learning the art of traditional beadwork. They will guide you through creating your own piece while sharing stories, skills and traditions passed down through generations.
  • Make your own pizzas and spend the afternoon lazing by the pool, playing petanque or with a friendly game of darts.
  • On your final evening, gather for a magical dinner under the stars, with the sounds of the African night all around you. Set beneath an endless sky, it’s a fitting farewell with flickering lanterns and shared stories marking the perfect end to your time at Lengishu.

Day 5: Departure

  • Enjoy a final breakfast at Lengishu before departing in the morning.
